| The MacKay Centre organizes programs and activities each week. You can keep up to date with our programs by viewing our monthly Event Calendar, by downloading our monthly Newsletter ‘The MacKay Messenger’ or by checking out our Community Calendar in the Goderich Signal Star. Some of our most popular programs include our weekly dining program ‘The MacKay Meal deal’, Euchre & Bridge, Tai Chi and Fitness Classes, Footcare Clinic, Choir and Senior Games. The MacKay Centre is an excellent facility for large and small gatherings, such as open houses, birthday/anniversary parties, wedding/bridal showers, meetings, seminars etc… We offer reasonable rates - our centre is close to downtown Goderich and is fully accessible. MacKay Meal Deal Join us Tuesday’s at 12:00p.m. and enjoy a hot, delicious three course meal served family style served to your table. Free transportation is available. MacKay Choristers MacKay Choristers meet every Thursday at 9 a.m. in the auditorium of MacKay Centre. 2 sessions per year – September to December & February to June. The choir performs at the Sound of Goderich in May and also in the Goderich Christmas Concert in December. In October they present a Cabaret. They also entertain at local nursing homes. Their annual art sale and show is held at MacKay Centre in August. Children's Theatre Company The Children’s Theatre Company resides here at MacKay Hall. Under the dynamic direction of Jennifer A. Black, the Children’s Theatre group is comprised of young people from ages 5 to 12 who share an interest in live theatre. The group develops its own theatrical presentation or adapts and existing one and presents a public performance of their effort. Consider joining the Children’s Theatre Co. Ontario Horticultural Association Since 1906, the Ontario Horticultural Association (OHA) has led Ontarians in all things horticultural. Our organization is an integral part of this province’s cultural fabric. The OHA of Goderich has been maintaining the beautiful gardens at The MacKay Centre for over 10 years.
